How to use OpenProject
Last Updated 26 days ago

OpenProject (found at https://projects.jacampus.org) is JA's in-house project management tool. It allows for unlimited projects and users, and is entirely customizable per-project so that every project can be managed as desired.

Because OpenProject is not yet compatible with Okta, you must request a login from support@jacanada.org in order to gain access. Once you have access, your username will be your email. You can request as many logins as you need, so that every member of your project (internal or external) can have access if needed. Users can only see and interact with projects to which they have been added. Per-user and per-project permissions can determine what level of access each user has to each project.

Because OpenProject is quite feature-rich and customizable, the easiest way to get started is to watch the online getting-started video series here: OpenProject Getting Started Videos. Each video is approx. one to five minutes in length.

And, if you wish to go further, you can review the written documentation here: https://www.openproject.org/docs/user-guide/
