Creating, Emailing and Voiding a Donation Receipt in Salesforce

Creating a Tax Receipt

1. Begin by navigating to the donation you would like to create the tax receipt for in Salesforce.

2. Click "Prepare for Receipting"

3. Select the Receipting Account for the correct tax receipt template.

4. Click "Save"

5. Click "New Receipt" to generate the tax receipt.

6. Click "Finish"

7. Your receipt has been generated. To view the receipt, click "Receipt Installment"

Emailing a Receipt

8. Select the receipt to view it.

9. Click "Email Receipt"

10. Confirm the contact and charity information is correct. If correct, click "Next"

11. You will receive confirmation that the receipt will be emailed. Select "Finish" to complete the process.

Voiding a Receipt

12. Click "Void Receipt"

13. Click "Next"

14. Click "Finish"
